Water jet cutting

Water jet cutting can be used on a wide range of materials and is especially useful on highly reflective materials such as glass.  It has the advantage of being able to cut thicker material than with laser.  No heat is involved, therefore the colour of the cut surface is not affected.

General specifications:

• Work areas  2100 x 4500 mm (6000 mm) and 2100 x 3100 mm
• Maximum water pressure is 3800 bar
• Cutting cap is 0.1 to 0.3 mm when clear water is used
• Cutting cap is 0.3 to 1.5 mm when abrasive is used
• Cutting tolerance is 0.2 - 0.5 mm
• Material's colour is not affected
